Project Jumpius (Ludum Dare 33) Mac OS

This project is a result of my tries to port Liferay portal Community Edition to Virgo. I have done this work in the research purpose to analyze an ability of development a serious mass enterprise system on very perspective and great Virgo platform couple with the most powerful open source portal Liferay. My theoretical research has pointed. The point was that that macros/southern cross etc that make up robotech has been suggested before, but it was often times dropped as a notion after the person wanting to start the project realized the limitations of this engine and looked hard at what a macross project needed, let alone robotech.

These are the things that make me.

Hi I have users that are seeing a similar problem with MAC these are the settings. More than a programmer

Adventure

I am at home in the mountains. I love hiking, snowboarding, and cross country skiing. I jump at any opportunity I have to visit the Rockies and spend most of my vacations above 5000 feet.

Create

I love to build things, it doesn't matter whether those things are physical or virtual. It's always amazed me how much you can achieve if you put your energy into creating something. Whether it's setting tile for a day, building a dock over a weekend, building a pool over 10 days, or developing a piece of software over a couple months, the feeling of accomplishment is the same and it's a feeling I want to pursue for the rest of my life.

Explore

I love trying new things and travelling to new places. I have a propensity to learn and I learn the most when I am experiencing something for the first time. I try to embrace change and force myself into experiences and situations I would normally have a tendency to avoid.

The final results are in for Ludum Dare 26, a game competition in which participants have 48 hours to program a game from scratch. As I previously wrote, I participated in Ludum Dare for the first time last month and learned an immense amount in an extremely short amount of time. Here are the ratings I received for Painter's Cat. The ratings were out of 5, and there were 1610 games submitted to the Compo category (which I participated in).

(For those who are wondering, Coolness is a measure of how involved you are in the community, especially with playing, rating, and leaving comments on other people's games. The more you play and comment and rate other games, the higher your coolness is).

First of all… I'm in the Top 100 for Audio at #47? Holy crap. That's amazing. I'm pretty blown away by this – all of that time doing One Hour Compos has really paid off! I couldn't find where my overall ranking was, but it looks like I managed to place in the top 40%, which isn't bad for a first game.

Ludum Dare was an amazing positive experience for me overall. I'm pretty excited for next time. There's still a lot for me to learn and this is one way to help me not only learn about software development and game development, but to also have fun doing it.
